Reading
Read ‘The Giggler Treatment’ chapter 1 (aim for a page at a time) some children may want to read more, they can if they are reading fluently. If it’s tricky for some half a page a day. Please go by what your child is able for.

Remember to take your time, if chapter 1 is too much, read as much as you can this week.

https://home.oxfordowl.co.uk/books/free-ebooks there’s a number of books available here for you to read online. You just need to set up an account and you have lots of access to readers.

Continue reading any books you have at home.

Writing
News – once a week you could write a few sentences in your News copy about what you have been doing at home to keep busy. This will be a nice diary you will have to read back on.

Skills Book – pages 99-102

Creative writing – Could you write a recount about a sports day you had. Maybe you and your family did one last week. Could you write about it?
I have attached a sheet where you could write a sensory poem about sports day.

Handwriting complete next 2 pages
