Monday 20th April - Friday 24th April

Hello everyone in 4th class from Mrs Halpin!

I hope you are keeping well and enjoyed the Easter holidays.  The following is a list of school work. I know your parents will probably be collecting your school books during the week. Hopefully this will make it easier to do some schoolwork at home. As before I will give a list of the work you could do but your parents will decide with you how much and what is appropriate for you. Nobody has to do everything but you should do some school work each day. If a parent wants to set other work other than what I’ve outlined that is fine too.

 Maths :
I have included the answers to Master Your Maths and Busy at Maths for previous and forthcoming weeks with your school books. You can correct these yourselves. Busy at Maths is available on the MyCJFallon.ie. Tutorials are available for each page on this website.
  • Master your Maths week 23
  • Busy at Maths Chapter 23 Decimals 3 P115-119 (attempt some of the sums from each section having looked at the example or the online tutorial. If you can attempt one page per day approximately )
  •  Division  by 7  tables

Gaeilge : You could use Google Translate if there is a word in Irish you don’t know the meaning of.
  • Complete the three revision sheets included with your schoolbooks starting with “Is Mise an Fear Grinn”

English:

  • Keep reading everyday for pleasure. The Book Depository website delivers books you can purchase free of charge.
  • Spelling week 12 and sentences
  • Continue your own free writing copy. Refer to ideas on our class sheet (Ads, Thank You Notes, Wanted Poster....)
  • One page of handwriting
  • Away with Words : Services on Your Doorstep P58-59 A 1-10 ( Some could be done orally )

History:
  • Unit 12 “Princess Hase Of Japan” P61 Activities A1-5 B1-4

Religion:
  • Grow In Love :trial@growinlove.ie   password: growinlove

Please remember 4th class while it is important to do some school work over the coming weeks it is even more important to help at home. Your parents are busy and this time is hard for them too. Try to stay positive and get fresh air and exercise each day.

Thank you Mrs Halpin
