Parents and the Community- Life of School
Parents are involved in the development of the school grounds. Over the past 12 months over thirty parents have worked with us during the school day as well as evenings and Saturday mornings. They worked as labourers, stone masons, painters, tilers, plasterers and garden designers. Parents have also volunteered to help in the cleaning of the school.

Kathy O’Hagan
In the beautiful grounds of our school is a bench dedicated to the memory of Kathy O’Hagan, loving wife of David and beloved mother of Sophie, one of our past pupils. Kathy sadly died on the 7th of June, 2009 after a long, bravely fought illness. She was a very creative person and loved gardening and performing on stage, which is a talent her daughter Sophie has inherited from her.

A plaque accompanies this tree and it is inscribed with the words “Trees are the earth’s endless effort to speak to the listening heaven”- Tagore
