Art Project

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Jodie Allen, mother of TJ in Junior Infants will be will be coordinating an art project for our school using recycled materials, as part of our Green Schools initiatives.

If you can, it would be helpful if you could gather and send in any of the following items you may have at hand:
- bottle caps (any colour)
- plastic bottles
- cans
- tin foil
- egg cartons
- netting for fruit and vegetables
- bubble wrap
- straws
- colourful plastic cartons/bags
- sea shells
As she will be sculpting/creating a seal and her pup, colours such as green/blue and brown would be great.

If you happen to be visiting a beach at the weekend, you might consider carrying out a mini beach clean up and bring in any of the litter you pick up (providing it is safe and not too dirty that is!).

Many thanks to Jodie for her support!

Catherine Donnelly
Green Schools Coordinator
