Imagine you are the coach; your team has lost the final. What do you say to them? What do they say to you?
Write a story about the winning team. Talk about how you felt at the beginning, during and after the match.
These are all ideas for creative writing. It might be a good idea to pick one idea and work on it. I would love to read them next week.

Ms O Hanrahan was telling me about an app that she is using for Maths, so I have been experimenting with it. I have attached recordings for the above pages. I hope they are useful; it was hard to write with the mouse so please excuse the writing.
Encourage the children to handle real coins, call out various amounts and get them to count the correct amount of coins. Encourage them to work out change from 1 euro and 2euro. Up until now the children have only been using coins up to 1 Euro, so they may find it tricky counting to 2 euro. Use a hundred square also.
Also use the interactive games on the Bust at Maths website, they are labelled 130 – 132.
