Senior Infants Blog
Hello Boys and Girls,
here we are in the last week of May. I've seen some great photos and videos of your activities last week, please make sure to stay in touch with me so I can see what you've been up to. Keep the reading up every day and lots of activities with your hands to make them stronger. Enjoy the lovely weather that's coming and find some lovely things on your walks for your data charts.
We had some very blustery walks down by the river this week but we don't mind as we were wrapped up well. But the most exciting thing that happened this week was the Tooth Fairy visiting us for the very first time, I think I was even more excited than Violet was!
All files are compressed in the zip file below. Alternatively, you can download each individual file separately.
This is a free, online app that has lots of educational activities. I have set some for Senior Infants to do if they would like (completely optional). Please email me on email@example.com if you would like the code.
Also if you have made a May Alter in your home or garden I’d love to see a photo of it.
Hello Boys and Girls,
well May is well and truly here. We've had some fantastic weather this week and even the rain was great as my garden was very thirsty. I was so happy to be able to go back to a forest trail I love this week and even happier to meet Odhran on the path. Odhran was taking a really long walk in the beautiful sunshine with his family and we enjoyed chatting (from a safe distance). We also went to the beach and collected some shells for our sand tray at home...I think we might make a pretend seaside in our garden this week.
I had some great emails this week from Tony, Ben, Annabel, Ryan and Cooper. I love seeing all your photos and it's great to know how you are getting on. Jaxon I hope you had a great birthday and got a spin on the tractor.
Keep an eye out on Twitter this week for a special surprise from all the staff of Scoil Mhuire gan Smál!
Hello Girls and Boys,
I hope you are well and jumping back into your routine this morning after the long weekend. We went looking for wildflowers down our lane and found lots of beautiful colours and scents. We have been cycling around our block but from today we will be able to go a little further! I hope you are finding plenty of interesting things to do and are keeping up with your schoolwork. Don't forget to send me some photos to MrsCB@outlook.ie
I see Lara and her big sister Ava are working away under the supervision of Múinteoir Pug, a very cute dog.
