1/10/2021 0 Comments January 10th, 2021Hello everyone,
I hope everyone is keeping safe and well. I have attached this weeks work below and I will put it on seesaw also. When you have any pages completed in the workbooks you can send a picture of the completed page to me on seesaw, just like we do for homework. I will also put up videos and activities on seesaw that I hope will be helpful. If you have any trouble logging onto any of the websites please let me know. Please don’t feel under pressure to get everything completed, these are challenging times for everyone so just do what you can from the outlined work and activities on seesaw. I am available Monday – Friday 9:20 – 3pm on seesaw and through email cryan@kilkerleyns.ie to correct work and help in any way I can, so please don’t hesitate to contact me. Most videos, activities and communication will be done through seesaw. We will see how that works for everyone this week and go from there. I have also attached some information about websites and login details below. Please don’t hesitate to contact me about anything. Ms Ryan :)

8/24/2020 0 Comments Returning to SchoolWe are looking forward to welcoming you all back on Wednesday. Understandably some of the children may have concerns about what school life will now look like. With this in mind Violet has helped us make a short video to highlight some of the changes and show that many things will be just like they always were. See you all on Wednesday! ![]()
6/21/2020 0 Comments Mon 22nd - Fri 26th JuneDear Boys and Girls of Senior Infants, I can't believe this is your last week of Senior Infants. Next time I see you, you will be big boys and girls in 1st Class. I want to thank you for the great time we shared in school together, you have been a wonderful class to learn with and play with. I enjoyed all our activities together; our Daily Run, Newstime and chats, Morning Greeting, Nature Walks, Playtime, Storytime, Topics, Art, Singing, Drama, Baking and all the other fun things we did together. This last Term has been a big challenge for us all to figure out and I think you did just super. You worked hard and you played hard and you can't say better than that! As a wee momento of our time together and to thank you for a great year, I have left a little present for you in your folders. Your folks will collect these for you on Monday or Tuesday (as directed) and don't forget to bring back your books (2 Rainbow Readers, PM Reader. Library Books, Reading Record card and Homework Folder). So until school returns, be the great boys and girls I know you are, listen to Mammy and Daddy, stay safe at home and when you go out and about. Send me a Postcard (like last year) if you go anywhere fun and read, read, read! All my love, Mrs Curran-Butler x ![]()

6/7/2020 0 Comments Monday 8th - Friday 12th JuneHello Boys and Girls, I hope you enjoyed your School Tour to Disneyland and your Sports Day, I loved your photos. We have now moved over to using Seesaw for sharing photos and work with me. Check your email for your access code to this app. You are doing great to get through this work. If you can't get everything done just choose the tasks that you'd like. We are near the end of your Maths programme so let's give it a big push this week. Keep reading every day and send me a video on Seesaw to show me how well you're doing with it. We have two birthdays in our house this week, my little boy has turned 3 and Mr. Butler is another year older too. Lara I hope you enjoyed your birthday celebrations too, birthdays are very different for us all this year. Stay safe, Mrs. Curran-Butler You might consider registering your child for this free webinar on Farm Safety on Wednesday (it will also run on Wednesday 17th and Wednesday 24th June if you don't get a spot on this one) https://www.facebook.com/858433100883708/posts/3104117676315228/?d=n ![]()
5/24/2020 0 Comments May 25th-28thHello Boys and Girls, here we are in the last week of May. I've seen some great photos and videos of your activities last week, please make sure to stay in touch with me so I can see what you've been up to. Keep the reading up every day and lots of activities with your hands to make them stronger. Enjoy the lovely weather that's coming and find some lovely things on your walks for your data charts. We had some very blustery walks down by the river this week but we don't mind as we were wrapped up well. But the most exciting thing that happened this week was the Tooth Fairy visiting us for the very first time, I think I was even more excited than Violet was! Stay safe, Mrs Curran-Butler All files are compressed in the zip file below. Alternatively, you can download each individual file separately.
