Ms Condron
Morning Everyone, Today we are going to continue with some practice of finding the surface area of a cuboid. Attached below are some practice questions. You can do them in your copy or on the sheet. There is also a video to try and explain the formula for finding the surface area- I definitely won't be winning any Youtube awards but I hope it helps. It might be an easier method to follow for anyone that was having difficulty yesterday. You will go through this properly in secondary school so if you're still unsure don't panic too much. Formula : Surface Area = 2 (L x H) + 2(L x W) + 2(H x W) You can complete the questions using either the method we looked at in the videos yesterday or using the formula above- they will give you the same answer so choose whichever you find easiest. Make sure to take sometime out to watch yourselves on the School Hub!! Ms Condron ![]()
