6th Class Blog
Good Morning Everyone!
March has landed and there is definitely a feeling that Spring is in the air, I’m sure any of you that live on a farm are very busy at the moment. Hope you all had a lovely weekend and enjoyed the beautiful dry weather. I know some of your younger brothers and sisters will be returning to school today, hopefully all going well, we will be returning shortly too.
We have a very busy but fun week this week. It is not only World Book Day this week but Engineers Week too. With this in mind our timetable is full of lovely activities for both, with a little less of our usual work so you can fully focus on getting the most out of each activity. Be sure to send in any photographs or videos of your work, remember we are still working towards our STEM badge! Other classes will be participating in the events too so if you want to pair up with your siblings for some of the activities go for it! The events we have chosen in 5th and 6th are aimed at your age group however if at any point you would like to substitute one of the activities for an activity that your brothers/sisters might be doing that’s ok too.
The Engineers week workshops are pre-recorded however you can participate live in the World Book Day activities. You do not need to watch them live however, they will be available afterwards, it just means you can’t ask the authors any questions.
If you have any trouble logging on to the World Book Day events you can use the password: clubsandfairs and it will allow you to access any of the workshops for free.
Thank you for all the wonderful effort in your religion last week, it’s clear to see you are all really motivated in your preparation for Confirmation. We are learning all about the fruits of the Holy Spirit this week.
Our timetable of work is attached below along with any files you may need for the week ahead.
As always if you have any questions or need any extra help you can send me a message on SeeSaw or email me on firstname.lastname@example.org
Have a wonderful Engineers and World Book Week!
